Changes in facial volume do not occur in the same pattern for everyone. Hollowing around the temples or eyes, changes in cheek volume, and loss of fullness in other areas of the face can affect overall facial proportions differently. Facial fat grafting uses your own fat to add volume, but where and how much fat is added depends on your existing facial structure and the changes you would like to address.
During your consultation, your facial proportions, areas of volume loss or hollowing, skin quality, differences between the two sides, and goals are evaluated together. Fat may be added to areas such as the temples, forehead, brows, around the eyes, cheeks, lips, chin, or earlobes depending on your anatomy and concerns. A donor area is also selected, with fat obtained through liposuction before it is prepared for transfer to the face.
Fat grafting behaves differently from dermal filler. Fat is soft tissue rather than a manufactured product with a defined consistency, and the amount of transferred fat that survives can vary. For this reason, the final volume is not completely predictable, and additional fat grafting may sometimes be considered if more volume is desired.
Facial fat grafting can be performed alone or combined with other facial procedures. It may complement eyelid surgery or a brow lift when volume loss contributes to changes around the eyes, or be combined with other facial surgery when both volume and tissue position are being addressed. The consultation helps determine which concerns are related to volume loss and which are better addressed with another treatment or procedure.

The total cost of surgery varies based on several factors, including the complexity of the procedure, operating time, anesthesia requirements, and the surgical facility used.
Our consultation fee is $150 and includes a comprehensive evaluation, surgical planning discussion, and personalized recommendations.
Surgical quotes are valid for 90 days from the date they are provided. To secure pricing, the procedure must be booked within this time frame; the surgical date itself may be scheduled beyond 90 days, based on availability and patient preference.
A $500 surgical reservation fee is due at the time of booking and is applied toward your total surgical cost.
